MG Motor UK - Personal project (2019)

Brand refresh concept

Personal project

Cars are one of my biggest passions, and I have long believed in the potential of the MG brand, so I created a concept deck for a brand re-fresh.

Oh, it's personal! copy overlayed on an image of an MG3 (renamed MG ZX)

Strategy and brand refresh objectives

Appeal to a rising younger audience by reinventing the way cars are owned, increasing convenience and reducing stress.

Inject much needed fun into buying a used car by increasing engagement throughout the process.

Refresh the web presence, focusing on ease of use.

This page is a summary of the project

Happiness. Verified.

Introducing the new way to shop used. MG Verified builds on the approved used program with a stock finder, allowing customers to build their car and then find matches.

With MGgo, Verified used takes on a new significance, clearing the 6-9 month old stock after it leaves the MGgo fleet.

Make yourself at home

The homepage re-design is centred on simplicity, making it as easy use as possible. The launchpad for many customer journeys, it is clear, concise and engaging. The updated brand system shines through, with bold colours, legible text and clear imagery. The depth effect from the app is also used to highlight interactive areas.
